![]() Many fans might have been concerned with the idea of Thrawn taking over for the Emperor and even Darth Vader as Star Wars’ new ‘big-bad’, given the fact that he has no connection with the Force and is ‘just an Imperial’. Fans are well aware that he can plan for any situation, and can outmaneuver any rival on the battlefield, but now fans know that he can also single-handedly cripple entire military forces, effectively making him as deadly one-on-one as he is leading an army. ![]() This comic increased Thrawn’s deadliness factor immensely, as it proved he is willing and capable of pulling off even the most seemingly impossible feats to achieve success - and he’ll do so alone if necessary. It is true that Star Wars: Rebels showed Thrawn being skilled in hand-to-hand combat, but it’s one thing to be a great martial artist during combat training, and another to have the skills to hunt and pick-off a squad of armed troops one-by-one totally unseen.
